The president of the state is obliged to resolve many diverse issues, ranging from economic and political situations to charity.
Today we will talk about the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During his reign, he resolved many issues that helped the state reach a new, European level. One of the mandatory items in his program is environmental issues. Thus, on September 15 of this year, the leader of the state took part in a meeting of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
Having arrived at the invitation of the President of Tajikistan, he actively took part in solving this problem. In his speech, Mirziyoyev noted that raising this issue and attracting public attention to it helps to implement tasks that significantly improve the situation.
He expressed hope that it would be possible to solve the problem of water shortage in Central Asia through joint efforts. This will help to significantly reduce the severity of the situation and not lead to irreversible consequences.
He made a proposal to revise the main documents, a detailed analysis of their contents and, on this basis, put forward proposals that would be many times more effective, as well as resolving issues of international cooperation in this direction.
Proposals of the President of Uzbekistan to save the Aral Sea
The leader of the state is seriously concerned about the current situation in the Aral Sea. He is of the opinion that a comprehensive approach to the plan can significantly improve it.
He also noted the need to attract investments, the latest technologies and technical assistance for the implementation of some priority projects. He proposed dividing these responsibilities equally, with each state taking on a certain part of the obligations in a specific direction.
The President of Uzbekistan made several proposals:
- involvement of international consultants in resolving the issue;
- jointly develop long-term projects related to the development of the Amudarya and Syrdarya river basins.
He considers the main task to be work to instill in young people a careful attitude towards water and water resources, to develop in them a culture of economical and careful attitude not only to water, but also to the surrounding natural resources.
The President noted the global work to improve the environmental situation in the Aral Sea region.
